Inspector is the reincarnation of someone special? That just makes the amazingly negligent incompetence of his parents as parents so much worse. It’s almost embarrassing that the Neverborn thought they needed a plan to deal with them, considering their absurd interests, general failures of common sense, and that resonance alone ought to guarantee they would self-destruct sooner or later.

Isn’t this the part of himself that Inspector castaway? What is he doing? Well apart of narrating the epilogue and not wearing pants 🙂
Pants are optional for discarded pieces of your soul. Its a rule.
Well, Laurel, I’ve enjoyed the comic, but this ending has confused me. Unless Kejak and his sidereals have tried to confuse matters, maybe?
Hopefully the 2nd page of the epilogue will clear things up a bit? But I admit that it’s a bit deliberately vague.
